Crawling

My baby is now crawling..............it is kind of sad to watch him! I am having a hard time uploading the actual video, hoping this link works. If not, it is on my Facebook.

He is such a sweet boy! We took him to Whole Foods today to check out the organic world out there after I have been reading about the horrors in our food industry in the book "The Unhealthy Truth". It is really eye opening and very scary to find out what is actually in the foods that we eat and feed our families! I am starting to feel like a big hippy now. It is hard not to want to change eating habits after reading this book! I suggest that everyone read it so that you can atleast be informed.

I don't know what happened, but his diaper was coming off towards the end of his nap......cute little boy.





Daddy got him up from his afternoon nap today.

I am sorry that it has been awhile since I have posted last. I have been out of town a few days for training and teaching summer schools. My free time is next to do nothing. By the time I get home at night and we get Trent to bed, I am ready to do nothing at all!

Lots of happened since I have been here last. Let's see......

• Trent is basically crawling a few steps at a time
• He is trying to pull up (had to lower his mattress tonight)
• He loves cell phones and remotes, of course
• He sits up like a champion
• He sleeps like true Spradley these days.....great naps and sleeping through the nights

He got to visit with his cousins while they were in town and his Uncle Trent while he stayed with us for a few days. We all loved having Big Trent here!!

I plan on adding pictures soon!!! Tomorrow is my last day of summer school!! :)

Casa Ole Lunch Date

Me, Mom and Trent met up with Kelley and Ava for lunch at Casa Ole today while we were all off together! It was really fun. Ava and Trent were both big kiddos in their high chairs. They were both so awesome! They snacked on treats at the table and entertained themselves for the most part. Trent tried tortilla for the first time and have a few samplings of rice and beans. He, of course at it up and loved it all!! Ava is a big girl and kept talking and talking (we didn't know what most of it meant, but she talked a lot just the same). Mom, of course made sure to tell Kelley and I what we needed to do with our babies. It's a good thing she was there too because Kelley and I both almost ordered an entire kid's meal for each of our babies and was going to shove the entire plate of food down their throats and just watch them both choke to death probably. We still have no idea yet what we are doing!! :) It's a Mom thing. If you know my Mom then you get the choke, right Kelley, right Erin???? haha!!


Ava wasn't too happy when her Mom sat her down for a picture without her....."how dare you leave me Mommy!!"

Trent tried to console here, "It's O.K. Ava, she's right there in front of you. See?" (he's pointing to Kelley, see?)

We went and got Trent's 6 month pictures made today. I have to say he was definitely working the camera! He was ALL SMILES the entire time. He knew what to do. I am going to post a few of the pictures here. I have more posted on my Facebook. Take a look there too if you like.

He reminds me so much of my nephew Tyler at this age in these pictures.

Trent had a busy first weekend of summer filled with family , good naps and lots of playing.

Here are some pictures of Big Boy sleeping. I just love these two pictures of Trent sleeping. What a contrast!!! In one he is balled up like a tree frog and the other he is chillin' like a champ!

Trent went over to his Mike and MawMaw's house yesterday to visit with everyone. Uncle Trent just returned home from working overseas and hadn't seen Little trent in over a month. I found a precious pair of jean shorts for him to wear that I bought Little T while I was still pregnant with him He wore that to his visit along with his muscle shirt for his big, bulging muscles!!

Here he is playing on the bed before we left. He then discovered his love of remote controls while at his grandparents' house. Fortunately, this remote control no longer works.

This is a great picture! Here are the 3 Michael Trent Spradley boys! Grandpa Mike, Uncle Trent and Lil' Trent hanging out on the couch.

Now, all we need now is a picture with Great Grandpa and we will have all 4 generations together.

Remember how I mentioned earlier that Trent just loves Kelli Pickler? Well, her video came on this morning as usual and we snapped a shot of Trent's face while watching her. It is so funny to see his reaction as soon as he hears her voice come on.

As you can see, he is also sitting up by himself great now too!
