Been a little lazy with the summertime.

Here is a picture of me getting Trent on his first day of school this summer. I was shocked to find out that he actually went down for a nap on his nap-mat! I was a proud mommy! He is doing really well with school and I can already see new things that he has learned. :)

Eskimo Kisses

Mom and I went shopping and Trent was with us….this is how my Mom learned that Trent would stay preoccupied long enough so that we could do some looking.

Now, everytime my son sees a mannequin he waves and goes “ooooooooh”

Trent has a new love for arts and crafts now after going to school and doing them there everyday. He also loves books and brings them to us now to read to him…he would never sit long enough for us to read a book to him before. Sweet boy!!

35 Weeks

 

My horse lover!!

Trent is a natural rider! Love at my big boy on that horse! He looks like he was born to be on that horse! I love this picture! Look at proud Papa!!

New Toddler Bed

So Monday while we were off for Memorial Day, Trevor and I decided to work on Trent's new big boy room while he napped. As Murphy's Law would have it, this is the first time in forever that Trent wouldn't take a good nap like usual. He was up and in our way within 30 minutes into the project. Here he is helping Daddy by handing him the boards that brace the mattress.

As you can see, this bed is MUCH smaller than I had anticipated. It will be on Craigslist within a year I am sure at the rate my son is growing. Hopefully he will actually sleep in it eventually.

Horse Lover

I took Trent over to Mom's Sunday night to spend the night. As soon as I parked in the garage and got him out of his seat, he made a bee line for the horse. This is the sweetest horse!! He loves affection and lives for it!! Trent always has to love on him when he is in his stall in front of Mom's house in the evenings.

I am not sure where Trent learned this from, but on his own he picked up some grass and went to feed Comet all by himself...loves his horses!!

Daddy's Son for sure!!!

Trent was riding home in the back from dinner and found the Annual hunting guide in the pocket behind the seat. I looked back in the rear view mirror and this is what I saw....so cute!!! Think Daddy will have a little hunting buddy or two in the next few years for sure!!!

Sweet boy

This picture is to prove that my son is sweet to his Mommy when Daddy is not around. Trevor snuck off into the spare room to nap while Trent napped on Sunday. When Trent woke up he came and laid with me on our bed and loved on me...it was so nice!!! I loved it!!!

31 weeks

Have I mentioned that I feel like I could have this baby tomorrow??? I am so uncomfortable already!
